Finance Lead, Payments, Finance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 14 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience building, developing, and leading a team.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with financial planning and modeling within the payments or tech industry.
  • Experience with early stage product development, and flexibility to adapt to new approaches/thinking in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience building, developing, and leading a team, with excellent business partnering, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial data tools: spreadsheets, and ERP/forecasting systems (SAP, etc.) as well as a desire to learn SQL query and analysis techniques.
  • Ability to communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to be a trusted translator between product and finance leadership.

As Finance Lead, you are both an inspiring manager and a trusted advisor, providing financial leadership to partners as well as supporting and empowering your team to be reliable, go-to financial gurus. In this role, you will partner closely with the product and business leadership to help shape the India Payments strategy, manage the portfolio, build profitable new products and businesses, while actively managing costs, business opportunities and long-term model to stretch investment dollars and allocate resources on a dynamic basis. You’ll be a trusted advisor and financial guardian, helping the team grow responsibly, and enabling innovation. You will constantly solve for business support, effective decision making and capital allocation, measurement and controls, and robust financial infrastructure/operations.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes, including planning, budgeting and forecasting, for Payments in India. Monitor financial performance and provide detailed analyses to support decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and support to the India Payments team on financial and budgetary matters.
  • Build and maintain long-term financial models to support longer term performance and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the financial strategies align with overall organizational goals, and develop and present relevant financial performance to executive leaders across the Payments organization.
  • Manage and motivate a team of finance professionals to ensure successful delivery of results.
