Creator Vendor Manager, YouTube

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience identifying issues in processes and creating solutions, and working with cross-functional teams to drive these changes.
  • 5 years of experience in a customer or client-facing role supporting role in operations management.
  • 5 years of experience building relationships with stakeholders or clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in program management on cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including executive leadership team, peers and managers.
  • Experience in dealing with ambiguity, achieving results in a fast-paced environment and continually adapting to changing business needs.
  • Demonstrated record of problem-solving and analytical skills, including modeling and presentation skills
  • Ability to create dashboards for requirements, management, and present them in a clear and precise way. Direct experience building and managing budgets and experience with strategic business planning processes in large organizations

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end YouTube vendor operations. You work on YouTube Products to enable support for creators across channels. You will ensure that user feedback flows to the stakeholders/Product team and fuels innovation. In this highly cross-functional role, you represent our Creators and problem-solve with the internal teams. You process suggestions, issues, opportunities and other product/experience information to ensure we are constantly improving the Creator experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Vendor performance, troubleshoot problems and make sure that vendors are performing as expected and are also getting the right support from YouTube to be successful.
  • Improve Vendor processes, specially vendor governance. Consolidate data and produce Vendor and Team performance reports to present to senior management (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs).
  • Ensure the budget is met as expected, approve invoices, and supervise that vendors are meeting their headcount commitments. Consolidate data and produce Vendor and Team performance reports to present to senior management (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs).
  • Proactively identify and program-manage strategic projects to solve for challenging business issues by working with stakeholders, managing communications, and overseeing milestones and timelines.
  • Evaluate vendors via Scorecards and track improvement. Build trusting and long-lasting relationships with Stakeholders and other Operations partners. Manage process standardization including site management processes.
