Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with programming in Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with a microservice-based architecture, database-heavy or high-traffic applications.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for contributing to our team of Software Engineers, that deliver critical engineering components for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Enterprise.
- Design and develop high-scale, critical production systems.
- Work closely alongside Engineering Management, Program Management, and partner teams in GKE Enterprise to deliver customer impact.
- Support and develop junior and executive engineers on the team to help them further their skill set.
- Set priorities for the local team and take responsibility for their delivery.
