Sales Specialist (Spanish, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience with TV and/or social ads market, planning and measurement.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Project management, leading and influencing strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Experience in TV, Paid TV, Influencer Marketing, and competitive landscape (e.g.,competing platforms).
  • Knowledge of the branding/creative ecosystem and agency culture as needed.
  • Proven track record in high productivity and meeting objectives and to be creative, flexible, proactive, thrive in ambiguous situations and exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to communicate with sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills tailoring solutions to both executive level technical product management teams as well as front-line sales teams.

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

In this role, you will work with and get insights into the workings and specifics of all Spanish Speaking Latam markets and their clients. You will influence the media strategies of these clients. Internally, you will collaborate across Google and understand other functions and teams (e.g. GTM, PMs). In this role you will focus on products and solutions within YouTube and the video advertising landscape, including reservation, added value video and creators. You will be welcome to attend additional trainings to further develop your expertise and add to your skill set.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Work across Google and YouTube’s video advertising suite of products: Instant Reserve, MastHead, Third-party Video Reserve and Creators Workstream. Drive alignment across stakeholders collaborating with business teams to execute on annual plans across YouTube.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in the business and product organizations framing around business rationale, advertiser needs and business opportunity for the sector. Work together with Deals and Packages team to help them define the best product mix.
  • Lead reservation initiatives and communications across the sector teams for consistent and well-executed deployment at scale. Work together with measurement and analytical teams to prove the value of video reservation inventory.
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Managers and Sector Leads to drive business through industry knowledge, product expertise and strategic thinking to support the holistic one Video go-to-market approach.
