Product Manager, One Producer Stack

Minimum qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder, or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience building and shipping technical products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in product management and strategy in cloud distributed environments.

The Foundation Services team in App Eco is working on a key initiative for GCP called the One Producer Stack which is central to the success of GCP as a platform, providing a consistent experience for service producers and consumers, accelerating their time to market.

Responsibilities

  • Work with partner teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Managers, UX) during product design and development to implement the requirements to turn Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) into Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for one or more teams.
  • Develop and secure buy-in for product outlook that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements and define data models for first and third-party service producers in the service lifecycle management space associated with capabilities such as Tenancy, Unified Maintenance Policy, Observability, Experiments, Billing integration, Marketplace integration, etc.
  • Be the customer and subject matter expert accountable for the success of the early customer and design partner engagements on One Producer Stack.
