Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in programming with Python, C/C++, Java, distributed systems.
- Experience with technical infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in debugging and optimizing large systems to improve performance and resource-efficiency.
- Experience in large-scale distributed system development, productionization, monitoring, and release management.
- Experience in processing large volumes of data.
- Experience in Android systems or development.

The Platforms and Ecosystems product area encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications). We build innovative and compelling software products—from apps to TVs, from laptops to phones—that have an impact on people’s lives across the world.
Responsibilities
- Grow and solve problems, and help protect Android users.
- Participate in the development of large-scale Google infrastructure design, develop, and maintain scalable Google wide infrastructure to scan Android apps per day.
- Build systems to manage and extract intelligence from various sources, and make the intelligence available to various internal systems and stakeholders.
- Build user-friendly tools to visualize app analysis knowledge for internal users.
- Collaborate on monitoring solutions and solve problems in production.
