Procurement Business Operations Manager, Google Procurement Organization

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience supporting executive stakeholders regarding business strategy using data, analysis, and related reporting tools.
  • 3 years of experience in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA.
  • Experience leading/facilitating cross-functional or global teams, managing and influencing teams of executives and managers, and establishing performance expectations.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, providing insights, and creating presentations highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities.
  • Ability to develop strategies for improvement and support executive sessions/team meetings.
  • Ability to collaborate with leadership to set goals and objectives, with excellent communication/people management skills.
  • Excellent project/process management skills, with the ability to ensure alignment with organizational strategy, escalate inefficiencies, and manage and track budgets and resource utilization.

Within the Google Procurement Organization, the Functional Strategy and Transformation team supports GPO’s ongoing transformation through program and change management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $162,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration with leadership to understand the organization's goals, drive OKR setting, and ensure alignment of OKRs and initiatives with the overall GPO strategy.
  • Lead collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to provide insights into performance, generate reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Work with leadership to manage and optimize resource allocation, human resources, budgeting, and systems/tools resources, and ensure resources are utilized to achieve GPO objectives.
  • Manage and track budgets, resource utilization, and evaluate new pillar initiatives to support resource prioritization and allocation activities.
  • Support collaboration and communication between different functions and teams and serve as a bridge between departments, supporting synergy and alignment in achieving common goals and OKRs.
