Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working in US Public Sector or IT infrastructure, cloud and digital transformations.
  • Experience working with agreement terms, redlining and negotiating agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in collaborating with executive level cross-functional leaders.
  • Knowledge of key business issues in government agreements.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Excellent data modeling, reporting, and written/verbal communication skills.

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all phases (e.g., strategizing, planning, managing escalations, negotiating, and closing) of the agreement process. You will focus on negotiating and agreement drafting. You will also be responsible for owning the agreement negotiation process, including agreement markups and collaborating with stakeholders. You'll help strategize, negotiate, and manage direct customer and channel led agreement within Google Public Sector (GPS).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with Public Sector promoters, partners, and customers to lead agreement structure with internal and external teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner with internal stakeholder groups including sales leadership, global business practices, legal, pricing, finance, and product.
  • Build relationships with teams to accelerate agreement, drive continuous process improvement, attend forecast calls, staff meetings, and business reviews to keep apprised of priorities.
  • Work collaboratively across GPS with leaders to formulate and advance initiatives that result in increasing business, efficiently closing agreement, and expanding agreement throughput.
  • Validate all aspects of agreement packages for accuracy and compliance with GPS policies, processes, general agreement posture.
