Lead Group Product Manager, Health Tracking Experiences

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
  • Experience with consumer products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with computing, mobile operating systems, and software application development lifecycles.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance resources across teams, while ensuring milestones are met on time and with high quality.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and challenging the status quo to create innovative, successful products, including strong instincts for knowing what users want.

The Health Platform and Trackers team is building products and services that empower consumers to live a longer, healthier life by surfacing the best of Google’s technologies and services into consumer experiences that are simple, fast, smart, and personal.

Responsibilities

  • Define the core product use cases – informed by long-term product strategy, technical capabilities, and market context – for the Tracking experiences across activity types (e.g., run, strength, swim, bike, etc.). 
  • Collaborate closely with other Product Managers and cross-functional partners across UX, Engineering, and Product Marketing to deliver novel end user experiences.
  • Help shape our investments in AI capabilities to bring exciting innovations around tracking to our users.
  • Mentor and guide Product Managers on the team.
