Strategy and Operations Manager, Google Public Sector

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in BizOps, Corporate Strategy, Technology, Management Consulting, or Security.
  • 3 years of experience in an analytical or consulting role.
  • 2 years of experience working in cyber security.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • 2 years of management consulting experience.
  • Experience working with Public Sector customers.
  • Experience building dashboards in Looker or Data Studio, and with budget management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience structuring complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI).

Within Google Public Sector, Technology Strategy and Delivery (TS&D) works to enable efficient and secure operations, data-driven insights, and continuous adaptation and improvement of business solutions to ensure the successful execution of GPS's mission. Our Strategy and Operations team supports the TS&D business by facilitating the business rhythm, providing reporting and analysis to drive business decisions, and leading strategic projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects in support of the GPS CISO organization.
  • Manage a large OpEx budget including budget management, tracking, and reporting in partnership with finance.
  • Drive annual planning, manage day-to-day business operations and design, implement, and improve processes in support of the GPS CISO organization.
  • Lead analytics projects/build dashboards to support data-driven decision making, and set annual organization performance targets. 
  • Become a trusted advisor to GPS CISO leadership by developing strong relationships, process expertise, and being the go-to person for solving issues.
