NPI Service Engineer

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in design for manufacturability and serviceability.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in setting up manufacturing assembly processes, driving new product launches and assembly process optimization within manufacturing operation.
  • Excellent sense of ownership with the ability to be detail-oriented and organized.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,000-$136,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical development and implementation of service processes, tools, fixtures, and manuals related to NPI product development of Consumer Hardware Service Operations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to lead technical issue investigation and resolutions during the product development cycle. 
  • Lead the qualification of new product service capabilities at authorized service provider sites. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product service requirements and drive continuous optimization in products design for repairability and serviceability.
  • Track and report on NPI service metrics such as design for service score, repair yield, and touch time.
