Technical Program Manager, Operations Analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting data engineering, data warehousing, data analytics, business intelligence, visualization, and data solutions using SQL and Python.
  • Experience in statistics and with statistical software.
  • Knowledge of the Hardware test industry and business operations.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms to apply predictive models and insights.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

PLaTO is the Cloud Supply Chain and Operation's (CSCO) gateway to our design partners to launch and ramp new products into the supply chain, and enable product excellence throughout the life-cycle. The Central Test engineering team works to provide governance and support model for PLaTO test engineering team in developing and deploying comprehensive, consistent, and scalable test solutions for new technologies and products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand business requirements, engage with managers from cross-functional teams to specify data analysis and visualization requirements tailored to business processes.
  • Analyze manufacturing test data and other data sources to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization, and develop insightful reports that communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual spreadsheets, collaborate with teams to develop tools and scripts that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Translate technical and engineering issues into clear, concise summaries that are easily understood by management and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide comprehensive program management support, including ongoing development of processes, templates, escalation procedures, and reporting mechanisms, and ensure smooth execution of projects.
