Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 2 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning or natural language processing.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science or a similar field.
- 7 years of experience in software industry creating distributed systems, tools, or services.
- Experience working with GPU, TPU, or HPC clusters.
- Experience with orchestration tools like SLURM or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of GPUs and related ecosystem and technologies.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with peers across Cloud Machine Learning (ML) compute Services to contribute to strategic leadership and influence decision-making.
- Forge strong relationships with key partners within Cloud ML compute Services and across Core ML, GCE, GKE, NetInfra etc.
- Contribute to the open-source community, manage repos, and foster a thriving internal and external community around this offering.
- Understand and differentiate the high performance compute or ML landscape to support the top AI ML/HPC customers.
- Design and develop the tools and services with incremental milestones, enabling rapid iteration for new models entering the market.
