Go-to-Market Strategy Lead, Google Cloud Applications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Sales Strategy, GTM Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Management Consulting, Program Management, Product Management, or similar.
  • Experience in project management, relationship building, and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
  • Experience managing teams which build business plays for SaaS platforms, collaboration, or productivity solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing and executing strategic initiatives, managing complex operations, and leading cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and measure the impact of large initiatives.
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects involving multiple teams, ensuring alignment, communication, and execution.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent business judgment, thought leadership, and problem solving skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to the executive audience.

About the job

The Cloud Apps Go-To-Market (GTM) team plays a critical role in developing a robust GTM strategy that stretches across the Cloud Apps business. Collaborating closely with GTM leaders within the Cloud Apps portfolio, the Cloud Apps GTM team will influence GTM strategies within Google Workspace (GWS) and Applied AI.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining alignment with the broader Cloud Apps objectives, inspecting results, and helping create and execute that will enhance our GTM motions. This is not an advisory role. The team will be expected to have a direct influence on how we go to market moving forward.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans to help achieve ambitious growth goals.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks (both internal and external) to accelerate growth.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to design and implement business strategy, prioritize investments, and scale the business effectively.
  • Orchestrate impactful launches and establish repeatable go-to-market processes.
