Pixel Manager, Channel Sales and Activations (English, German)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in partner management at senior level within the carrier mobile industries (e.g., Telco subscription services and hardware sales).
  • Experience in vendor management, leading a Field Sales team.
  • Experience in sales operations and project management, and with process design.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, and collaborative environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and impeccable business judgment.

About the job

In this role, you will drive the execution of Google’s sellout programs across major business partners in Germany. This includes working closely with carrier partners on a variety of activities designed to drive business for Google Pixel and its ecosystem in their channels (e.g., POS, Online, Call-Centers, B2B). You will also manage new product introductions and make sure that all relevant touchpoints for our customers meet the premium standard. You will advocate on behalf of our partners to cross-functional teams internally to drive Sales team initiatives and improvements to the partner experience for Google Pixel.

Responsibilities

  • Support external partners who offer Google Hardware products via partners' staff training, incentive management, and store merchandising.
  • Work closely with the third-party vendor that provides the Google Field Sales team. This team consists of Sales Representatives, Sales Trainers, and Merchandisers to successfully implement agreed activation programs with our carrier partners.
  • Support the successful implementation of new product introductions making sure that operational goals are met (e.g., merchandising progress, training numbers, successful launch events).
  • Overview the Google presence in partner doors making sure that they meet premium requirements. Coordinate third-party vendors and their resources to deliver upon Service-level agreements (SLAs) and terms of our agreements.
  • Contribute to unlocking new business opportunities via identifying and activating the right partner channels and partner doors. Be the POC for your carrier partner to deliver first-class executional excellence.
