Performance Specialist, gTech Ads Solutions (English, Japanese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with digital media or digital marketing/advertising solutions, implementing and measuring campaigns and providing client solutions.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently as this role involves working with Japan based businesses and clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting products or services.
  • Understanding of Media landscape and knowledge of Google’s advertising solutions or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.
  • Ability to demonstrate a data-driven approach when proposing solutions, providing actionable insights to customers.
  • Ability to create strategic programs to drive performance (e.g., product adoption plans; campaign optimization syncs).
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

About the job

As the gTech Ads Solutions Performance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing deep and specialized focus on emerging or complex ads products, and support those products with optimization and analysis support. The team works closely with Product Operations Managers (for serviceability assessment), Regional Product Specialists (for Technical Implementation), and Global Product Leads (for understanding the commercialization strategy) to build capability around supporting Apps and other performance products.

Along with being responsible for meeting client’s performance objectives and key results, you will also ensure the products are smoothly transitioned to the gTech Ads Solutions Campaign Management team once the products have matured and have stable servicing processes. In this role, you will work on products that are identified to be needing specialist support in terms of sales, implementation, or optimization. You will be responsible for building a deep understanding of these products in the absence of extensive available documentation, achieve and exceed customer goals through these products, build robust processes, systems, tools and documentation through your own work to ensure such products can be serviced by generalists in due course. You'll also be responsible for working closely with the Product teams to provide feedback on the product improvements that can help customers in terms of performance or help agencies become more efficient while servicing the products.

Responsibilities

  • Build essential knowledge about digital marketing/advertising, Google products, competitor offerings, and industry vertical. Stay current in the advertising environment and competitive landscape through required training and other resources. 
  • Develop growth plans for large advertisers through collaboration with industry managers from in-market cross-functional teams with some guidance.
  • Create and support multi-product solution promotions and collaborate with in-market sales teams to create a growth strategy for potential advertisers with some guidance. 
  • Draw interpretable insights from deep dives and data analysis, provide data-driven tactical recommendations to customers and leadership based on analysis.
