Go-To-Market Lead

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in business development, ad sales, or other relevant partnership development work
  • Experience working directly with SMS aggregators (e.g., Sinch, Infobip, etc.), messaging companies, brands, agencies or in similar relevant business messaging roles in Germany
  • Experience working with product managers, communicating customer requirements, and presenting concepts to external partners and brands
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with messaging services, or automated chatbots
  • Knowledge of the CRM, CDP, and Martech domain as a complement to drive conversational commerce cases
  • Understand complex business processes, teams, and partnerships, build consensus and be adept at communicating and developing relationships at multiple levels
  • Ability to close customer and/or partnership agreements while navigating ambiguity around immature, fast moving products and maintaining a healthy pipeline
  • Ability to run events, or participate in industry forums in collaboration with external partners
  • Curiosity or passion for conversational commerce and conversational AI

About the job

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead responsible for driving commercial adoption of RBM in Germany. You will work with local messaging partners, large brands, and carrier partner decision makers and cross-product area teams (e.g. Android) to develop and execute a strategy that will increase awareness, adoption, and commercial business generation for business messaging. You will unlock business generating use cases that differentiate the rich messaging ecosystem, improve the day-to-day experience of Android users across Germany and create the foundation for a growing economy around business messaging for our partner ecosystem.The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Help inform, shape, and execute the GTM strategy in Germany to drive awareness and adoption of Rich Communication Services Business Messaging (RBM) while working directly with Googler peers.
  • Engage large brands in Germany to drive awareness and adoption of (RBM) working with local partners and Googler peers. 
  • Identify, educate, and execute with/thru leading SMS Aggregators and enterprise software providers (e.g., CSPs, ISVs, etc.) in Germany to scale RBM awareness and adoption with their large enterprise customers.
  • Lead channel GTM motions, including Sales Enablement, Co-Funnel, Co-Marketing/Incentives, and Joint Business Planning.
  • Establish relationships with local Google teams, including Android, Ad Sales, Agency and Cloud teams.
