Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management
  • Experience managing technical programs and projects from inception to completion
  • Experience with technical infrastructure capacity and resource management
  • Experience leveraging data to identify trends in an engineering environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in large scale, distributed infrastructure.
  • Experience in Resource Management processes and tools
  • Domain expertise in data center infrastructure resource planning and cost of resources
  • Collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries, builds relationships to achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with programming (Python, SQL etc.), and at least one scripting or SQL-like language or ability to learn quickly based on experience.
  • Strong spreadsheet modeling and data analysis skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex projects by working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate with cross-functional partners.  Analyze usage trends and partner with engineers to estimate and acquire resources for feature launches while adhering to financial objectives.
  • Become a subject-matter-expert and consultant on technical and financial trade-offs in data-center resource management. Provide supply-chain and infrastructure teams with a rolling 18-month forecast that aligns to budget endorsements.
  • Partner with YTRM engineering to design and build tooling to help scale the planning process. Triage resource-requests to fund new launches, system-migrations, and infrastructure projects while maintaining appropriate supply buffers. 
  • Ideate efficiency opportunities to scale resources sublinear to demand growth and efficiency opportunities/ideas to reduce growth.
  • Manage reserves policy and processes to meet annual targets. Identify excess supply to divest to central infrastructure teams.
