Category Manager, YouTube (English, Thai)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, e-commerce platform, media consulting firm, internet strategy, media agencies, partnerships with social media creators or similar.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Thai fluently to support client relationship management in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent analytic, logical and problem-solving skills with effective attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and value points with partners and internal Google teams.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Responsibilities

  • Analyze campaign performance, sales data, video commerce market reports, and KPIs to inform market shopping strategies.
  • Develop Go-To-Market strategy and long-term strategies across product categories aligned with overarching business goals.
  • Map category and subcategories landscape, and define priority on which segment to be developed in collaboration with merchant and marketplace strategy team.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and global trends/events, and continually monitor participants efforts.
  • Develop and build relationships with commerce-focused MCNs/agencies to help them succeed on YouTube and cultivate merchant partners and develop new business opportunities.
