Software Engineer, YouTube Trust and Safety

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming language (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Machine Learning or Computer Vision
  • Experience applying machine learning to real-world data
  • Experience with TensorFlow, Keras, Flume, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Analysis
  • Experience with Machine Learning, C++, Python, SQL

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand gaps in our content understanding.
  • Build classifiers for YouTube videos, livestreams, and images using various modalities (video, image, audio, audio transcripts, metadata).
  • Apply novel machine learning methods to take on a variety of Trust and Safety challenges.
  • Collaborate with research, operations, and product teams.
