Compliance Lead, Cloud Controllership

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification in ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
  • Experience in a risk management, compliance or finance role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a sales compliance or agreement governance role, supporting a sales or finance function.
  • Experience in enterprise software or tech industry settings, including process and strategic improvements.
  • Ability to manage a varied and diverse workload, while ensuring accuracy, timeliness and a high degree of attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Excellent leadership, team player, people management, and communication skills.

From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support the EMEA Cloud business as Compliance lead and local point of escalation ensuring compliance with our agreement and governance policies.
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance and other teams on all large and complex agreement that require escalation to global approval forums, and query resolution related to approvals and agreement execution.
  • Support the expansion of our Public Sector segment in EMEA, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and related obligations in partnership with the Global Public Sector Compliance function.
  • Lead local investigations in partnership with executive management on breaches of policy and ensure appropriate remediations are put in place across direct and indirect sales channels.
