Business Development Manager, Google Cloud (English, Spanish)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in marketing, sales, or business development.
  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in exceeding business goals in the technology industry with cloud computing solutions.
  • Experience managing and building relationships with cross-functional teams internally and externally and with executives at partner organizations.
  • Experience in program management, customer loyalty and demand generation initiatives.
  • Experience sourcing leads and generating business pipelines.
  • Understanding of technology, cloud computing solutions and digital transformation from a business perspective.
  • Ability to use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

About the job

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in the business organization. You will collaborate with the Sales team and identify, qualify, and cultivate customer opportunities. You will also identify and build a high-quality, strategic pipeline for our field promoters so they can ultimately meet or exceed their business goals and expand the product portfolio within their accounts. You will gain an understanding of how our solutions solve our customer issues.

Responsibilities

  • Drive aimed demand generation initiatives aligned with cluster priorities and specific Named Account Lists (NALs).
  • Monitor and optimize touch strategies for maximum lead progression and conversion.
  • Work closely with Field Sales, Specialists, and Partners and help define the most effective pipeline creation routes. Support partner demand generation through partner BDRs setting goals and expectations.
  • Lead regular cadence meetings at the cluster level to review demand generation plans and execution.
