Video Specialist, Gaming and Apps (Mandarin, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience working in brand marketing and digital marketing roles in online business.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, with knowledge of Google’s products (e.g., YouTube, Apps, and Performance).
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment, with effective attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, lead cross-team collaborations, and influence on solutions to drive performance (e.g., scalable implementation plans).
  • Ability to work with data, with excellent problem-solving skills to generate insight and uncover opportunity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills while presenting to executives.
  • Passion for product development.

About the job

Our Video and Creative Specialists team is tasked with driving client business growth through new product activations while being trusted advisors to Sales and Product teams, influencing them to develop products that cater to our market’s and client’s opportunities.


As a Video Specialist, you will focus on leading the commercialization and activation of our core YouTube Video business and work on products such as YouTube for Action, etc. You will primarily work with diverse teams focused in the Tech, Auto, and Mobility areas. You will build partnerships at various levels of the organization, with particular focus on partnering with Sales, Regional, and Global Product teams.Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business pitches and drive adoption of key products and solutions.
  • Drive the Video product go-to-market plan for the Gaming and Apps business, with an understanding of both Video products and regional business nuances.
  • Manage to communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders across multiple levels, areas, and industries with Video product/solution narratives.
  • Manage the translation of the Video business plan into scalable solutions to address business opportunities, and drive product/solution evolutions based on the market needs to achieve long-term success of our Large Customer Sales advertisers.
  • Uncover new opportunities with Google data and product insights, and effectively influence Sales teams and cross-functional teams to land the opportunities together.
