Minimum qualifications:

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, or business operations with a tech company.
  • 6 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience working in or with federal government agencies/contractors or US defense and security organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working in or with cloud technology companies.
  • Experience in collaborating with executive level cross-functional leaders.
  • Excellent business judgment, problem-solving, and analytic skills and ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems.
  • Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.

About the job

As Strategy and Operations Lead for the Technology Strategy & Delivery (TS&D) organization, you will lead a small team that facilitates annual planning and the regular rhythm of the business (QBRs, monthly services business reviews, etc.), manages TS&D headcount and opex, conducts analyses to support executive decision-making, manages back end business operations for the professional services business, and counsels leaders in support of efficient and effective management of the business. You will also act as the chief of staff for the VP of TS&D, providing counsel to the TS&D leadership team, maintaining strong connections to the office of the CEO and Go-To-Market leaders, and managing myriad cross-cutting strategic initiatives.

Must be a US Citizen to meet customer and compliance requirements, including potential access to classified information.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$296,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual planning process and oversee day-to-day resource management (people and money), including GPS Academy training.
  • Run the TS&D business rhythm including setting targets, monitoring progress (OKRs, QBRs, etc.), and facilitating escalations and executive decision-making.
  • Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to StratOps managers and leads that align to specific TS&D leaders and components of the business.
  • Act as chief of staff, facilitating smooth flow of information among TS&D leaders and managing materials and preparation for key internal and external leadership engagements.
  • Develop and maintain strong linkages across GPS including OCEO, CABO, GTM, Finance and People Operations, and with key partners across cloud.
