Strategic Partner Manager, Scaled Partnerships, YouTube (English, Urdu)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Urdu fluently to effectively communicate in this customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in the video, media, digital, or entertainment industry.
  • Experience as a content creator, with a passion for finding, developing, and managing YouTube creators.
  • Experience in an external-facing customer interaction role with customer support, sales, or relationship development.
  • Ability to interact at all levels of an organization, as well as cross-functionally.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to proactively improve processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation planning, and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you'll use your interest in video, the media, and the Internet to acquire a deep understanding of our media partners, content creators, and creator service providers' businesses and distribution goals. With this understanding, you will identify opportunities and solutions to promote greater account performance, drive product adoption, and metric growth. You will help identify partner groups and develop at scale solutions to grow the ecosystem. In addition, you will be responsible for driving cross-team and function initiatives successfully while representing YouTube's user, product, and program interests to our partners.

In this role, you will give planning support to partners, forecasting, report partner metrics, determine relevant strategies, drive business opportunities, and ensure prompt and proper resolution of business and technical challenges with our partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and help grow a portfolio of high potential YouTube creators across genres such as Entertainment, Sports, News, Gaming, Lifestyle and more for the South Asia Frontier region.
  • Manage a portfolio of creator work accounts towards strategic goals, including maximizing watch time hours, platform engagement, audience growth, community interaction, and growth by developing customized analytical strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with your team and cross-functional partners to develop and implement creative ways to improve client relationships, grow distribution, and drive growth.
  • Measure and analyze overall creator performance. Streamline operational workflows and process improvements.
  • Project manage initiatives to grow emerging creators, including workshops, events, and other scaled initiatives.
