Generative AI Lead, Google Cloud Consulting

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting, and 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence applications (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition), applied machine learning techniques, or using OSS frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience building ML solutions and developing applications using AI frameworks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience building with Generative AI tools and techniques to solve business problems in particular conversational workloads.
  • Experience with contact center technologies and platforms and building conversational applications.

As a Generative AI Lead, you will work closely with a regional technical team of field engineers. You will work with the AI Practice Lead to accommodate the demand for Generative AI skills, provide technical leadership across the region, and mentor a growing team. You'll work in small, highly-performing AI teams and bring your demonstrated technical and leadership acumen to a team responsible for ensuring the best experience for customers moving to Google Cloud. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions, managing relationships with our customers' technical staff, and working with our Google Cloud partners. More than just providing excellent support to our partners and customers, you will identify hard problems and develop permanent, elegant solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with customers on technical issues based on in-depth product and technical knowledge of Generative AI.
  • Develop technical tools and assets. Document reproducible solutions for customers and partners.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of Strategic Cloud Engineers and Technical Consultants.
  • Provide highly technical implementation support in customer environments, including guidance on implementation feasibility of cross-product integrations.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.
