Global Training and Advocacy Manager, Devices and Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives on a global scale.
  • Experience with retail sales environments in the retail or carrier fields.
  • Ability to assess and analyze market and competitive information to produce comprehensive industry analysis and provide guidance on where markets are headed.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level, and launching programs successfully in the marketplace.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and with influence across stakeholder groups and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

About the job

The Devices and Services Business Organization was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Google’s software and hardware to our users by bringing to market and distributing a Google-branded consumer hardware and services portfolio. The team is responsible for managing all partnerships with carriers, retailers, and resellers worldwide.

Global Channel Sales and Activations (GCSA) team mission is to drive global excellence and consistency in retail field programs, and deliver outstanding customer experience. The GCSA team works cross-functionally to set the overall Channel Sales and Activations strategy, manage OPEX business planning and productivity, ensure channel and partner launch readiness and provide tools and resources to support regional and country teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and launch a comprehensive loyalty program based on business priorities, expected Return on Investment (ROI) with operational management plan.
  • Build global sales advocacy strategy and campaigns to engage retail sales associates of third-party partners driving brand advocacy and affinity.
  • Assess advocacy program opportunities to support key markets and success metrics. Partner to co-develop a robust support platform/community to further facilitate global advocacy and incentivise advocates.
  • Identify key sales, training and advocacy opportunities with regional teams to address potential for increased performance.
  • Drive operational excellence of training programs and content, ensuring seamless alignment between training programs global strategy and regional business needs.
