Central Strategy and Operations Lead, Go-To-Market

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (e.g., Data Studio, SQL).
  • Experience with or knowledge of Google's business, product areas, digital ads ecosystem, and Southeast Asia markets.
  • Ability to act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, balancing advocacy and challenge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, and the ability to self-structure and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for both business strategy and operations, with strong problem-solving skills and data-driven insights.

About the job

As part of the Southeast Asia and South Asian Frontiers (SEAS) Central team, you will lead strategic workstreams and projects, drive governance and infrastructure, and help transform ways in which our sellers operate across a range of business topics.

In this role, you will undertake projects from design and strategy all the way through stakeholder alignment, execution, and operational tracking, across a broad spectrum of impactful areas. To deliver impact across these areas and execute projects effectively, you'll collaborate closely with a broad network of stakeholders from senior stakeholders to front-line sellers and cross-functional teams.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions into key business topics such as video product go-to-market, agreement strategy, design of seller performance assessment, and more.
  • Manage Southeast Asia’s seller enablement program on competitive business.
  • Lead reporting infrastructure and program management of key operational initiatives.
  • Drive key workstreams within annual planning.
