Senior Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales, Google Customer Solutions

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or business analytics at an agency, technology, or media company.
  • 3 years of experience in managing enterprise clients, agencies, or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently to interact in Cantonese with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience directly driving sales and business growth, and building relationships with senior/C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in digital marketing or e-commerce.
  • Experience in cross-collaborative stakeholder management, with proven ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and business acumen in previous roles.

The Mid-Market Sales team is a critical growth engine for clients in GCS designed to grow medium and large sized fast growing businesses in Hong Kong. Through long-term relationship development, we’re dedicated to understanding the business goals by providing advertising solutions to drive business success. Mid-Market Sales (MMS) Account Strategists are sellers who advocate for Google. Account Strategists improve campaign performance, drive thoughtful Google product adoption, and build short- and medium-term strategies to meet business and marketing objectives.

In this role, you will design transformative media strategies for growth based on the customer objectives, provide Google-caliber solution selling, partnership management, and analysis to deliver successful business outcomes. You will uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their objectives, while driving incremental business agreements through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer’s business via directly driving scaled product adoption and growth.
  • Work towards strategic goals while prioritizing and delivering outstanding customer experience to Google's agencies and advertisers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our agency and customer relationships, and share performance enhancing suggestions.
  • Carry business and productivity targets, and drive in quarter business and product adoptions.
  • Provide strategic advice and help our advertisers get the best ROI on their advertising investment by working closely in a consultative role with Senior Account Strategist.
