The renminbi is the official currency of the People's Republic of China. It is the world's fifth most traded currency as of April 2022.
The yuan is the basic unit of the renminbi. One yuan is divided into 10 jiao, and the jiao is further subdivided into 10 fen. The renminbi is issued by the People's Bank of China, the monetary authority of China.

The ouguiya, at one time spelled "ougiya", is the currency of Mauritania. Each ouguiya constitutes five khoums.
The current ouguiya was introduced in 2018, replacing the old ouguiya at a rate of 1 new ouguiya = 10 old ouguiya, which in turn replaced the CFA franc at a rate of 1 old ouguiya = 5 francs.
The name ouguiya is the Hassaniya Arabic pronunciation of uqiyyah أُوقِية, meaning "ounce". Wikipedia
