Re: Orange Square Bodys

Man i love orange, it's my favorite color. I so want to paint mine orange BUT... it's a crewcab, and in NH the DOT has orange crewcab trucks. So if I painted it orange it would just look like some old DOT highway truck I got at an auction or something, instead of something I intentionally wanted orange. I don't know why that's such a bad thing, but I really don't want it to look like a DOT truck.
I almost painted it yellow with a white two tone stripe on the sides, and a white roof, but my wife talked me out of it. She thought it would look garish. In the end I'm sticking with black, if only because I have black jambs and black doors, which would be a ton of extra work to change on a 4 door. It's got red interior, so I'm thinking I may do a two tone later with a dark red metallic.

My dream car is a hugger orange 69 Camaro with white stripes.

Is that possible? It's really by chance that I spot most of the posts that I reply to. Too much going on this time of the year to be online for very long so I just pop in stay caught up on the the happenings of the site. Plenty of knowledge on here for answering guestions but when I see a chance to show my baby I grab it. A picture is always worth a thousand words.

As always, thanks for the kind words on the truck!!

Re: Orange Square Bodys

wow that one with all the custom filled in work under the hood blew me away! where did everything go? Wheres the brakes? I'm not into show trucks, I like stuff that works for a living, but I gotta appreciate the amazing work done there. I am absolutely stunned.

Re: Orange Square Bodys

Thanks for the comments babyJay and DetroitDan, it's much appreciated! I'm lucky and thankful to say no, I had her before the truck . As much as the truck seems to hate her, she seems to love it though. She's always fighting with something, whether it's the seat belts or even getting in the damn thing. I had to put the aluminum steps on it just so she could get into it on prom day. They'll be coming off this summer.
