There's something about these old tan trucks. It's unique but original and it's doesn't look boring like most tan vehicles on the road today.

This is a VERY nice truck from everything I have seen. I believe 454/400 combo. Interior is as nice as the outside and around 75k on it.

Re: TAN TRUCKS! sante fe, buckskin ect.

The last tan vehicle I had was T-boned. Woman said she couldn't see me because it blended in with the Earth tones

I told her I wouldn't repeat that to anyone if I were you. So she tells the cop the same thing,,,duh. The expression on his face was priceless

the 85 dually is mine, 454-th400 silverado fully optioned for the year, showing 35,000 miles on the clock but who knows. I got from a local dealer that used it to tow their race trailer to the track a few times a year. He bought from a action in califonia, 2 year ago. the truck is totally rust free and unmolested. even the air works. I am going keep it that way. and just enjoy it as tow rig for my toys.

cheers frank

My 79 1 ton is brown and tan like that, but I don't recall the names of the colors off the top of my head.

Never heard of this project before. I would be interested to hear more about it. Why are you extending the bed?

I like seeing old threads get resurrected. So I'll throw in. I don't know if the Opie is still around on the forum, but what the heck.
