Dark Gold/Moss Gold trucks?

Looking to see some trucks in this seemingly elusive colour. Dark Gold was used on GMC's and Chevy called it Moss Gold. Other than mine I've only seen one in this colour, and it was at the scrap yard!

Yours is the only one dude. I looked for a long time for another one last fall. I have a paint stick in front of my computer right now with that color on it. I almost painted my truck that color. It is a cool different color though.

Re: Dark Gold/Moss Gold trucks?

This is my mossgold 1976 Chevy. It was a special order that the guy never paid for. I bought it from the original owner when I was 16 years old. It had been ordered with bucket seats, no console. It's got a 4 bolt main, and a 12 bolt 3:73 rear end. I built the bumper in high school with a friend of mine and still have the original one in the barn. Not sure why the original wheel covers are off of it in this photo.

Ah nice to see another one! Not sure of the paint code but the RPO is 81P according to the options sheet on my truck's inner fender.

Re: Dark Gold/Moss Gold trucks?

I forgot that this was the color combo on a gmc suburban I almost bought a few years ago at the same auction that I bought my 71 gmc at until my buddy bought it yesterday as a tow rig to haul his mustang to the drag strip and brought it out to my shop to store it until he can tell his girlfriend he bought it lol.

I never realized what I had was a rare color. It's a 1975 C20 Camper special.
