Recognize this Lt Blue Metallic?

Got an 87 Burb with a missing SPID. Does anyone recognize this metallic blue? I'm leaning toward the following 3 but can't nail it down.

WA7470 code 21 light blue
WA8860 code 22 huron blue
WA8964 code 26 light sapphire blue

I'm going to say it's most likely WA7470 code 21 light blue.

If you download the 1987 Suburban information kit (it's a PDF file) from the GM Heritage Center and look on the last page (page 39), it shows the factory color availability chart. The only light blue I see listed on there is code 21.

Re: Recognize this Lt Blue Metallic?

Thanks Ray.

It's a ZY5 color combo but Light Blue with Silver. Picture below is not my Burb but has the exact same color combination. Silver isn't supposed to be optional for ZY5 according to page 39 of that link. It's an oddball V20 Silverado, had dummy light gauges, manual windows, no special trim. Ran the Carfax on it - came out of Vegas and stayed on the West Slope of Colorado until I picked it up.

Having a SPID would have really helped, it doesn't seem to follow along "normal" GM callouts.

Re: Recognize this Lt Blue Metallic?

Looks real close to the "Light French Blue" on my two-tone K5. My SPID shows WA9264 for the blue and WA8915 for the gray. The black hood and removable top are courtesy of the PO

NorCal, what year is your Blazer?

In this thread McLovin has the same French Blue on his SPID but that looks different. Could just be the lighting.

Mine's an '89. There was a little bit of a glare with the picture that might be throwing the color off a little? I can try to snap a better picture tomorrow if it'd help.

Re: Recognize this Lt Blue Metallic?

Thanks, I think this might help. The 27 French Blue is a shade lighter than the 21 Metallic Blue.

1st pic: 1990 color sheet includes both code 21 blue and code 27 blue.

2nd and 3rd pics: best representation I could find of what looks like 21 & 27.

4th pic is the blue/slate silver combo I have, 21 looks like a closer match.

5th pic: close up of door frame, 21 looks like a closer match

Re: Recognize this Lt Blue Metallic?

Ok...so now a set of 1987 paint chips. Ray's link to the GM Heritage center showed that the 87 Burb with ZY5 option 2 tone in my colors - was a 21 Light Blue Metallic with 90 Gray Steel Metallic.

If you look at the chips on the sheet below the code 21 blue is there but no obvious code 90 gray. However there is a code 15 Med Gray Poly that looks exactly like the "silver metallic" in my Burb's 2 tone color scheme.
