All personal data of this type will be kept in a database. Anyone requesting such data will have their request forwarded to the current owner on file. If they wish to respond, it will be up to the owner. I will only pass along the request. The LS6 Registry is dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of these cars.

verifying the build point of origin, colors, and transmission type
for the LS6 Chevelles from a given plant and
not to validate or authenticate
a specific vehicle. Where applicable, and with consent
from the present registrant, his/her name will be noted. If the
registrant does not wish to be known, their personal information
will remain on file with the LS6 Registry for future reference and
correspondence will not be publicly released.
Chevelles in this registry have been known to be sold by dealers referencing them being in this registry. While this is often true (if they were not registered I would certainly call them out on it), they sometimes are deceived by their consigned sellers, stretch the truth a bit or don't tell the full story. If you are considering buying a Chevelle that's advertised for sale and the seller notes it is in the registry and you have questions, please do not hesitate to write me with any questions. I may not have a lot of answers you're looking for but I may have. I'm sure if you're willing to spend the $150,000 - $300,000 many of these cars command, you'll want to do your research.
Chevelles/Corvettes in this registry may or may not have correct driveline components. The LS6 Registry's mission is to document legitimate LS6 Chevelles/Corvettes regardless of their current condition or driveline. If a registrant submits an entry and the paperwork (e.g., build sheet, Protect-O-Plate, or anything else showing the car's VIN AND the LS6 option) is acceptable for the registry. If incorrect parts are on the car, if the engine and/or transmission is a restamp, warranty replacement, or completely different, that will be noted in the listing.
As of September 1, 2013 only owner registered LS6 Chevelles are listed with the exception of several NCOA giveaway LS6 Chevelles. The current owners of those NCOA LS6 Chevelles, hopefully, will register those cars so I'll know they have a good home.
I have documentation on many other LS6 Chevelles that are not listed but no owner associated with them. If you think your 1970 Chevelle may be an LS6 car, contact me and I'll check it against my known/suspected list.
