1993 Super Black Nissan NX2000
Hey all,

I am obviously new to the web page building arena and will dabble here and there.  My car is a 1993 Nissan NX2000, the color is Super Black and I have owned my baby for about 2 years now.  About 6 months ago, after only doing the suspension and the cantaloupe cannon to the rear, I spun a bearing.  Yes I got lazy and did not change my oil as often as I should considering the 119K miles and constant abuse of Houston freeway traffic.

Around New Years, i bought a JDM motor and installed in a weekend.  Soon to follow was the FSTB, Place Racing CAI, mated jdm exhaust manifold and my not to ricey aluminum wing.

There will definately be more to come check out page 2, not much there but some pics of the PR CAI.

A little education, first off.  The NX200 was only produced for  3 year, due to dramatically low sales, I have read that in 1993, there were only 293 of these babies produced for the US, possibly making it a collectors item in the future.  Time can only tell.
The car itself, is quick, I have no track times or slips at this time. Full packages included everything.  Power everything, Cruise, AC, AMFM cassette, 4 speaker sound, etc.  The NX2000 came standard with the galss T-tops here in the states but if you find one with a hard top, good chance it's from Canada.

One of the major shortfalls, to some,  of this baby is it's eccentric shape, giving it the nickname "The Egg".
Personally, I like it, with the right suspension combo, tire/whelel combo, this car can handle.

My mods include a JDM  DE motor, PR CAI, Eibach/Tokico combo and Enkei 16 with Kumho 712 195 40 16.  Crush bent 2 1/4" exhaust soon to come to compliment the jdm exhaust manifold "mod" and the cantaloupe cannon you see to the right.

The wing was inexpensive, but it is funcitonal in every way.
The motor is very strong, here's a little secret that little pay attention to, it can handle up 400whp on a stock long block, with proper tuning.  That's right Honda kids, bullet proof, taking second only to the 4g63.  Crank and rods come forged from the factory.

Stock motor boasts 140 hp with 130 ftlb torque.  You can launch and still keep them in your mirrors.  I prev stated 123 ftlbs torque but was corrected by a fellow NXer, the technical info including gear ratios can be found at the link below.
By the way, all work that you have seen done, has been done by me, or rather installed by me. I had some help with the motor to hand me tools or muscle this way or that way, those credits go to my brothers Todd and Josh for all their steriod induced help. Fortunately, I have not had a need to fabricate anything.  Oh, yeah well I can't take credit for the welds.  I don't own a weld machine, but if I did, the ALL the work would have been by me.
