I don't think the air conditioning on this example is factory. The large round gauge cluster just left of the steering column, on this sample, says "VENT" at the bottom of it. That same round gauge cluster on a model with air conditioning says "AIR COND" at the same bottom location. If you look under the dash, just above the transmission hump, just below and left of the radio, there is an aftermarket control on it that looks like it has a fan speed dial on the right, a dial with red around it (heat?) in the middle, and a dial with blue around it (cold?) on the right. There also is none of the typical AC equipment mounted on the firewall of this example as there was on factory A/C models. Looks like the dash has the factory A/C vents though - but that could have been a restoration addition to the original dash. The large gauge cluster just right of the steering column on this sample, at the bottom, does say "HEAT", with DE-FOG & DE-ICE on it, suggesting it originally had a heater at least. At least on the A/C part, I think this vehicle is being mis-represented by saying it is factory. Very nice looking though.
^ You are correct: while you definitely could get A/C without heat in '59, AND while A/C is quite rare/hard to find today (10% installation rate), the gauge pods aren't right for A/C. Should say 'AIR CONDITIONING' in left pod. This was an automatic heat car (the right pod has a graduated indicator instead of just saying 'HEAT') without A/C, and the vents were retro-fitted.
^ Yes, tho marketed under the name Twin Turbine. There was a (very uncommon) option; Triple Turbine, wherein the quadrant read PRNDG (Grade Retard).
I had a '58 Impala with the Triple Turbine transmission with that Grade Retard function. It was a wastes of time using it as I recall. Also had lots of problems with it too.

I've still got my heart set on a '61 2 door of some sort for the next Buick. Need a change of address before adding any more vehicles to the fleet though.
I’m not aware of any national Buick registry or ANY B-59 registry that would even take a stab at how many in existence. I call BS on the ‘1 of 11’ claim. Buick built 11,216 Electra 2-dr hardtops, almost a dead match for the Invicta hardtop (11,451), and there’s way way more Invicta coupes left than circa 11.
This car has been advertised before, and at that time the price was over $100K. So there's a bit of a price reduction. The car was listed then as completely "restored" and as a mild resto-mod with improved brakes and aftermarket A/C.
There was a lido lavender 1959 Buick Electra 225 convertible that was listed for over $100k. I haven't seen an Invicta asking price quite that high yet. Not saying this car isn't worth the asking price - but the listing is misleading in several areas.
Love the 59 Buick styling! My gramps had a white 59 LeSabre convertible. Was my favorite car as a kid until he traded it for his 425 dual quad 66 Riviera GS. That’s the one that did it …. The Buick torque bug “bit me” forever. Man could that big Riv put down two thick streaks of rubber!
