What yellow is this?

I bought this cab ages ago and it was stored in such a way we figured it would have survived better. Unfortunately, not so much. The thing I'm curious about is what color of yellow is this? Way back when, I was thinking it was Ochre, but its really sort of an orange/yellow. I tried to dial the color in better with the pic, but no go. I have no spid and no paper work on this 1972 cab so I cant look there.

What do you think? I really like this look with the white roof (too bad its rusted all around the perimeter now).

Re: What yellow is this?

for reference, the three 72 "yellows" are 511 Ochre (Spanish Gold), 519 Dark Yellow (Wheatland Yellow), and 525 Yellow (Grapefruit Yellow), shown in order below. To me, your cab looks more like Dark Yellow - but it's hard to tell for sure with pictures after you throw in years of fading and lighting for the pic. Sorry, that's probably not much help!

Looks like 519 Dark Yellow (Wheatland Yellow) to me as well. It was (is???) considered a "Fleet Color"...so I'm confused as to why it isn't seen more often?

I think you guys nailed it with Wheatland ... Thanks!

That's my nephew and grand nephew wielding the tractor.

Re: What yellow is this?

It's what GM calls dark yellow 519 - PPG 81348. Here's what it looks like when it's fresh.

I was thinking of changing my color, but didn't because of all the extra work involved. Now that I've seen what it looks like, I'm really glad I didn't, because I love this color.

For comparison here is 519 dark yellow original paint, 1969.
