2013 RDX AWD TECH - White Diamond Pearl
Hey guys,
I guess I am the first one to upload pictures in the picture section so enjoy. I will try and take some better one if the weather can improve here. We had a small window of opportunity here last evening but it appears a crappy week is in store for the upcoming week.

Hey everyone...Thanks for the positive comments and as I said, these pics don't truly show how great this vehicle looks in person. I'll try and get some better pics when I am back from my business trip. I applied a nice coat of wax on it and then topped it off with the insulator wax (Collinite)...that stuff is simply amazing! I use the step 2 (Mothers - Scealer and glaze) to bring teh shine and give it a very smooth finish and then apply that Collonite to give it a beading factor like you would not believe....those 2 used together has given me the best possible combo in my opinion.
I can't wait to take the RDX to a nice spot and take better pictures to truly show how great this vehicle is
DateTSX...You are correct, I am a huge WHITE fan when it comes to my cars because nothing is more sharp than a clean white car.

Very very nice car and I am also a big fan of white car. I am planning to get a white rdx with black interior as well. Did you wax your car yourself? I am thinking to do a diamond coating at dealer if I buy this car. Any comment?

Weather, thank you! You have a very good-looking garage!!! Both cars look wonderful together. I love how WDP looks on the 2013 RDX - it certainly is one of the best colours for the vehicle!

This is just me but I would NEVER spend any money on having a wax job done...I like to do it myself, know its done properly and the satisfaction after is done is just priceless!

Thanks for the comments....as you can see, I am biased towards white vehicles as well I did wax the vehicle myself. I am a HUGE fan of auto detailing...I can spend hours and hours washing, waxing, cleaning the engine, the underbody etc...its a stress releiver for me. I turn on the spekers in the garage, play some good ol' country music, get a beer ouot and just have my ME time with the cars

Looks awesome! If I get an RDX, I'm leaning towards this color.

Too bad you don't live closer...I'd even do it for you! I love detailing cars.
ROCKETSFAN...On white, the black moldings/trim on the bottom of the vehicle really stands out nicely! The pics aren't the best as the contrast is not high enough but trust me, in person, this RDX is sweeeeeeeet!

Boy, is your car super clean or what, Weather!? It looks SUPER!
Somehow, Acura really has got it right with Bellanova White Pearl - it is just the right white. Some whites are too fluorescent white and too cold, and some are too creamy. Yet, BWP is just the right white, and it looks great on the new RDX! :-)

Ostrich...Thanks for the compliments! I do love keeping my vehicles super clean and now the RDX seems on the same path as my TL with no exposure to rain either (damn disease) *lol* Thank God I bought that little Hyundai Accent as my little beater car but now when its nice, I never know which one to take.
By the way, the RDX has a color called Diamond White Pearl....the Bellanova White Pearl is on my TL. For the record, seeing the two side by side makes you aware right away that the DWP is much pearlier (and not as white) as the BWP.

Oh! Really, Weather? That is Diamond White Pearl, rather than Bellanova White Pearl? Well, it is also a gorgeous white too! You know, when the 2010 TL had the DWP, I thought it was gorgeous too and almost bought it (in the end, I went with Mayan Bronze). Then I was disappointed that they discontinued the DWP on the TL, but once I saw the BWP, I knew that it was a wonderful white too and was much relieved. Acura definitely has got its white right - and it means a lot coming from a person who does not usually like white cars!!!
I so wished that I could wash my car here in Calgary. The city has a bylaw the does not allow anyone to wash their car with soap or detergent at all!!! So I can't really polish my car at home. This is very disappointing because I like to pamper my car too, giving it that polish and shine.... sigh!

Weather, you must not like the front of the RDX... you cut it out of the pictures
Reminds me of how my mother-in-law cuts off the top of people's heads when she takes pictures (or is it just my head?)
BTW, the RDX looks great!

Ostrich...Are you serious?!? That would be a reason right there for me to move out of that city!! That is another fine example of politicians mingling too much in people's life.
DibbyD...Actually, until you brought it up, I didn't realize it. I am never a big fan of dead on or dead behind photos and like to take angle shots that captures both the rear and side or front and side and after seeing the pics, I notice my a$$ fetish came out *lol*

Hmm..... who's in the cahoots with the carwash business!? JK!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Seriously, it is such a pain in the butt. The regular touchless carwash never washes my car well. Paying for a hand wash every time is just too expensive.... so my poor TL now just looks dirty all the time.... SIGH!

Weather, they claim that it's a "green" policy, so that unprocessed soapy water will not get into the sewage, but only soapy water from carwash would....
Ostrich....It makes perfect sense to me...I mean you don't want to have "unprocessed" soap going into the sewage system and create an environmental disaster. It is great that use the environmentally model of the "tar sand" to create this policy *lol* What a bunch of BS! (in my mind)

*lol* Good catch...it was a mistake on my part and could not delete after the fact. You are very observant my friend I am planning on doing more pictures with a nicer background thsi weekend....I'll try to upload these. I'll do more frontal pictures (of the cars that is - lol) as some of you commneted that there was not enough....If any of you our here are on the fence and would like certain shots, angles to help you with your decision process, please let me know. BTW...I will not sprawl on the hood in my speedo so please refrain from begging too much

Sorry about not replying to this post sooner...Turns out that my landscaping projects took more of my time than originally planned and didn't get the RDX for a new photo session. Once I do, I'll take some undercarriage pics for you and the gang...As you said, I'll be down there anyway and this one is so much easier to do than the TL with the extra ground clearance.

We noticed this at the Acura dealer yesterday and it seems yours are the same - do your side mirrors appear to be a slightly different colour than the rest of the car? I can somewhat see it in your pictures - doesn't bother me at all, but does my other half.

This question cannot be answered by one or the other! Both are just superb vehicles and provide their strength and weakness. Its more based on the mood I am in....If I want a very spirited drive, I'll take the TL....If I feel a bit more mellow and want a very sophisticated (yet responsive) drive, then I'll take the TL. Its like asking if you like vanilla cake or chocolate cake....I guess you could get a marble cake but you get my drift *lol*
