1983 LAND ROVER 88" SERIES 3 SAFARI STATION WAGON

The vendor has owned this Series 3 Land Rover, registered in October 1983, for the last 13 years, during which it has been stored within a dry lock-up. It is described as being ‘a solid Land Rover with good, straight panels and mechanically sound with a very well-looked after engine. It has been fitted with new carburettor, coil, leads, spark plugs, electronic ignition and a new fuel filler pipe.' While the Land Rover runs and drives well, the vendor further states that it would probably benefit from either a new half-chassis or a full one. The vehicle has never been restored. The odometer shows a mileage of circa 74,000. There's no record of an MoT as far back as 2006, when online MoT records began. The documentation accompanying the Land Rover includes its V5C, spare keys and MoT certificates from 2001 to 2005.
