25, 5, 1…500. Numbers plucked from the air but these have meaning. Twenty five special S3s were built by Audi exclusive: 5 Vegas Yellow, 5 Glut Orange, 5 Sepang Blue, 5 Misano Red, and my personal favorite, 5 Viper Green. One because this one is for sale and 500…well that’s how many horses live under this Viper Green hood.
Owner Ryan Blair, like the owner of our last FOTD, is a pure Audi-phile. He is a Master Guild Audi Technician who won the Audi Tech Challenge in 2012. He currently owns Blair Automotive in Dallas, Texas, comes from a family of Audi enthusiasts, and is an active member of our Audi Club Lone Star chapter. He also owns BMP Tuning who are the Master Distributor for all of Texas for APR, 034, AWE Tuning, CTS, and Integrated Engineering just to name a few. You can bet that this S3 is well cared for, well equipped, and upgraded with performance in mind.
Back to the car. It’s been modified with engine, suspension, and cosmetic upgrades for an OEM+ feel. Here’s the list:

AWE Switchpath Exhaust w/ remote
BFI Motor and Trans mount
HPA dogbone mount
Eurocode front and rear sways/links
ED Springs
HRE FF15 wheels w/ Mich PSS
Stoptech 380mm 6 pistons
034 Carbon engine, battery and fuse covers
Pure Carbon difuser and spoiler
Suntek clear bra from A-pillar forward
Full vehicle Gtechniq Crystal Serum 5 year ceramic coating (applied in December 2017)
The interior is the Audi exclusive geared towards these special builds. Each car got an interior with Fine Nappa Leather Package upgrade, including contrast stitching, Audi exclusive inlays in body color, Audi exclusive extended leather package with contrast stitching including covered door armrests and knee pads, Audi exclusive leather controls with contrast stitching including steering wheel and gear shift. Each was built to Prestige Package equipment levels, and included S Sport seats.
The Audi exclusive S3s (nicknamed Skittles cars) are unique and this Viper Green one is even more unique. 25, 5, 1…500. Numbers you can live and drive by.
