trigger
Firstly I'd like to credit this chap http://www.flickr.com/photos/61090099@N04/ for uploading the brochure to Flickr, he's done a sterling job and I'd thought I'd share a few on here. trigger
Obviously you'll need to click on the photos to make them bigger and readable.
twosmoke300
It's hard to belive that the 205 gti was around the same time as the horizon and solara . From a different era Also do you guys remember the fan belt on the 305 which went round a corner. Class
Mr_Bo11ox
Flipping brilliant, I used to have this brochure when I was little and used to greatly enjoy it long before I had any comprehension of wrestling the bald headed champ. ed5000
Sudsprint
That silver 205 GTI is still the dogs.
pandamonium
Love this, thank you. I'd have a diesel Horizon any day!
Impmadman
Amazing how a company can produce class and crud at the same time.
HMC
Great! The double page HURRY UP BUY A DIESEL BRITISH PEOPLE spread sagely predicts " the car of the future will be powered by a turbocharged diesel engine" Interesting to see how the brochure is pitched- assumes some actual level of interest in technical matters from a typical buyer
UmBongo
I always wanted a 205 GTi but the closest I got to owning one was a 309 GTi, just like this one. fordperv
trigger
I've got a massive lob on for a nice 309 GTi, much nicer than a 205 GTi IMHO.

richardmorris
My grandparents had a Talbot horizon just like the one in the brochure - silver with red piped seats. They did about 15,000miles in it in 15years and it looked mint - got replaced by a megane on motability.
brickwall
Yeah! Just look at the choice of seat material. Beautiful. HMC
saucedoctor
Until now, I'd completely forgotten that my Samba LE originally had white wheels!
srad34
Those 305 and 505 chairs look REALLY comfy.....
Angrydicky
I quite fancy a Solara actually. I was very taken by Wuvvum's very tidy example when he let me drive it round the car park at BL day. It felt very smooth and comfortable, with those typically French squashy seats.
fordperv
I always wanted a 205 GTi but the closest I got to owning one was a 309 GTi, just like this one. the 309 gti is on my list of cars i must own i prefer them to 205s
fire3500
My Mum had two Horizons, they were truly dreadful... she got rid of a Mini Clubman that was rotting from the inside out and got a bright orange T reg Horizon... it was impossible to get in or out without creating sparks between the brushed plastic seats and my tracksuit... those were among the first exciting feelings I felt "down there"... twosmoke300
Just read the diesel engine bit. You would think they could have found a Bosch pump to photo given that Mr Robert Bosch is mentioned right above it !
carlo
Those 305 and 505 chairs look REALLY comfy..... They were both even MORE comfortable than they looked, if that's possible. I did attempt to put some 305 GTX seats in my 405 but they were a totally different design.
