Mandi L. Swanson

July 27, 1980 - January 30, 2024

BOLIVAR – Mandi Lynn Swanson, 43, passed away after a lengthy illness on Tuesday (January 30, 2024) at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.

Mandi was born on July 27, 1980 in Wellsville to Donald S. and Kathy L. (Williams) Irish. She graduated from Bradford Regional High School in 1999.

Mandi is survived by her two children Jameson R. Irish and Phoenix A. Irish both of Bolivar; a sister, Donielle (Lyle) Champlin of Bolivar; two nephews, Darien Champlin and Jefferey Champlin; and a niece Lakoda Champlin.

She is predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Taeler L. Irish; a sister, Shawna Helms; and nephew, Jaxson Dimpfl.

In her younger years Mandi traveled the country, she was proud to say she had been to California to Massachusetts to everywhere in between. Mandi took delight in playing games, chitchatting, and always having music playing to sing along with. Much of Mandi’s time was spent caring for her children. She showed her love by planning all-out birthday parties for her kids to enjoy, often recruiting the entire family to help.  Time spent with family was what she cherished most.

Mandi regularly attended Southside Union Chapel in Bolivar.

Visitation will be held on Sunday (February 4) from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. at Baker-Swan Funeral Home in Wellsville/Scio. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home immediately following the visitation with Rev. Dave Hearns of South Side Union Chapel of Olean officiating.  © 2024 Baker-Swan Funeral Home.
