I Want This 1992 Suburban So Bad! But In Non-Running Condition, Is It Worth This?

I Want This 1992 Suburban So Bad! But In Non-Running Condition, Is It Worth This?

I’m a Suburban fan and this OBS 1992 model is really speaking to me. It’s super clean, had a blown big block in it, and is totally my style. But it threw a rod, was taken apart, and is now in pieces. Ugh. I feel like this is still a great truck to buy, even if you planned on doing an LS swap instead, but I’m not sure I can stomach the $4,500 price tag at the moment. What do you think? Is it worth it? I doubt you’ll find one much cleaner anywhere, and it is a 3/4 ton with a full float 14-bolt out back. Hmmmm.

Sweet ride, definitely worth it, especially if the blower comes with it (not that I’d use it).
I’d put a mild 383 SBC in it, black out the grill and part of the hood, then drive the snot out of it. ‘Course I’d probably have to come out of retirement to afford the gas . . .

I have seen beat to death 3/4 ton Subs with 300K on the clock asking more. It is worth it to get this and swap in a new engine of whatever flavor suits you.

That is clean! Running or not, $4500 is a decent deal. These OBS pickups are really starting to climb in value, bringing their suv counterparts along for the ride.

Hell yeah. Summit racing has a Blueprint poweradder ready 496 for just under $10k, drop that in the truck and if it’s as clean as the seller claims for around $15k you’ve got a really nice ride with a blown big block.

For me, it is worth it was a great deal because the car still looks clean and the paint still looks new you just need to make it run. If that happens you will never regret that with patience that you will never regret.

I will drive down from MI w/trailer. Have a similar Burb 4X4 BBC w/rusted out body. Hate to say this, but is it sold?

Chad, you’d be a total and utter dumbass to let this get away! That would start a new saying in the car community, “Don’t be a Chad!” Remember the Dick slogans about drinking & driving?

See Dick, See Dick drink, See Dick Drive, See Dick wreck, Don’t be a Dick…

See Chad, See Chad find COOL vehicle in great condition with a good price, See Chad think procrastinate, See Chad miss great opportunity, Don’t be a Chad.
