Just because the Wagon War wound down doesn’t mean that I agreed to a ceasefire. Watching Lohnes slide the pocket ace that was that L72 Kingswood drag wagon was like pouring jet fuel on a tire fire. So if Lohnes wants a war, I’ll give him a war. And I’m going straight for the jugular this time…we all know he’s weak in the knees for big heavy-duty equipment, especially if it’s got dual rear wheels on the back end. In wartime, an incoming B-1 means that in a matter of a few short seconds, a supersonic screamer is about to drop a massive surprise directly onto your lap with precision. In this case, this 1949 Dodge B-1 is simply here so that I can hear the screaming all the way from Massachusetts.

This is a heavy-duty restomod done in a way that even I’m salivating over it. The Dodge, a former fire truck, was plopped onto a 1998 Freightliner chassis that was equipped with a Cummins 24-valve and a six-speed manual transmission. You have 300 gallons of fuel capacity, a shotgun for a shifter, and it comes with a paint-matched car-hauling trailer, which means that Lohnes has plenty of room to add another car after putting Brutus and Buford on the back.

1949 DODGE B-1 TRUCK CUSTOM

General infos:

Used to be a FIRE TRUCK. Now sits on a 1998 Freightliner Chassis with Air Ride, Air Brake and 24 VALVE CUMMINS DIESEL ENGINE, and 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION.

Equipped with JACOB BRAKE, TRAIN WHISTLE as well as chrome in-cab HORN HANDLE. Truck is painted with KANDY APPLE RED over CHARCOAL, which becomes the nicest, deepest RED WINE color.

Vinyl Seats, Maple Wood laminated Floor.

Shifter is a REAL SHOTGUN – NON SHOOTABLE.

IN-CAB Transmission cover has been airbrushed with beautiful horses.
