1985 GMC Sierra 1500

One owner from new

Fully optioned, top-of-the-line Sierra Classic

Fresh high-quality cosmetic restoration

One of the most successful vehicles of any time from the modern history of General Motors, the third generation of its full-size C/K light truck line was built during 15 model years that spanned from 1973 to 1987. Known affectionately as the “Square-body” trucks, the series is embodied in this highly desirable 1985 GMC C10 Sierra Classic short-bed pickup, equipped with the brand’s premium option package.

This handsome truck was purchased new in Tracy, CA, by Blackhawk Collection founder Don Williams. Used for running errands and hauling light loads around town, it had the best of care and was never abused. It was finished from the factory in the colors presented here of Desert Sand with Doeskin Tan lower sections. Wanting comfort with utility, this top-of-the-line Sierra Classic trim level truck is optioned lavishly with power windows, power locks, air conditioning, tilt steering column, cruise control, AM/FM radio, dual gas fuel tanks, rally wheels, sliding rear glass and more.  Additionally, a Duraliner protects the bed.

Recently, this exceptional GMC was treated to a comprehensive, high-level cosmetic restoration that included new high-quality paint, side moldings and correct reproduction interior and detail items. It has always been garage kept, runs beautifully and has been used sparingly since restoration work was completed. Accompanying the truck is the window sticker and restoration/service receipts.
