So I just got my first car, a 1975 Dodge Adventurer Sport with a 440. I would like to paint it a certain brown, but I'm not sure what the color is called. Something like this... Can anyone help me figure out what this color is called? Paint codes? Thanks!

Thanks hemi! Does anyone have a set of DODGE hood letters off a mid 70's truck or van like these?

Here's a picture of my new truck! Took it out driving this week, it sounds remarkably like the Bluesmobile when you accelerate! (As it should with a 440, thermoquad, and 727 automatic transmission.)

"It's a beautiful truck, Bob!"
That's an innocent looking little 'ol D-100 to be packing a 440. Bet it's a fun ride.

Anyone got an old rear-view mirror laying around? Mines all rusted out behind the glass.

I'm steering my paint decision toward this guy. The owner has it listed as cinnamon... But googling 1975 Dodge cinnamon will show that or this. Pretty drastic difference. It's really hard to find good info with accurate reference pics. The paint ref site makes cinnamon look too dark but sienna too light. Copper looks way too yellow in every pic I've seen.

So I've been tinkering around on the truck, fixing little things, some big things. I took my old crumbling door panels, scraped the old vinyl off with a paint scraper, and hand stitched my own black leather vinyl onto it, then I got some DODGE hood letters off a 65 Polara (I think) and mounted them across each panel. Installed new speakers and an AM/FM cassette radio (supposedly out of a Monaco) Under the hood, my dad and I built a fan shroud for my abnormal sized radiator. We had to heavily modify a shroud kit, but it fits like OJ's glove (it looks like it came from the factory to me) and it really helped the airflow, and I mean WOW did it ever. It's like a tornado under the hood. New air cleaner, rebuilt 850cfm Thermoquad carb, new radiator. New brake booster and master cylinder. New horn. Rebuilt the heater core. The little things like all the dash lights, gauges, knobs, switches, work. We wired in a power source for a portable CD player. Went to pick and pull and got a 100mph speedometer to replace the old 80mph one. There's not much else for me to do but patch up some rust and paint(future endeavor), and get the air conditioner running. On my dash there's a little red light with 'BRAKE' written on it. It used to be stuck on before we bled the brakes, now it's off. But I noticed my parking brake pedal has a little switch to detect when the pedal is pressed. The switch is missing the wire. I suspect the wire goes to the dash 'brake' light, but I can't see where it's supposed to plug. I think it might splice with the brake proportioning valve (that's what used to stick the light on) but I can't find where the splice point is either. Any ideas? One more pic.
