The Cadillac Series 62 was produced from 1940-1964, at which point it was renamed the Calais. The model experienced several dramatic evolutions as it tracked American design trends: stately post-war sedan, 1950's fins and cones, and finally the creased and slab-sided lines of the 1960's.
