1969 Lola T70 Mk.3B Coupe
This 1969 Lola T70 Mk.3B is a reconstructed example that is one of the rolling chassis sent by Lola Cars to Sbarro in Switzerland in the late 1960s to be outfitted for street use. Chassis SL106 was reportedly used as a rental race car before being sold in 1974 by US Lola importer Carl Haas to marque specialist Mac McClendon in a state of damage without an engine. The car remained in storage for the subsequent five decades with McClendon, who carried out a refurbishment circa 2014 that included the fabrication of a replacement monocoque chassis using updated aluminum. Finished in yellow, the car is powered by a 350ci Chevrolet V8 that features dry-sump lubrication, quadruple Weber carburetors, and electronic ignition. Additional equipment includes a ZF five-speed manual transaxle, a twin-plate clutch, adjustable QA1 coilover suspension, ventilated disc brakes, staggered-width 15” alloy wheels, a fuel cell, black vinyl upholstery over two-place seating, air conditioning, front- and rear-mounted cameras, and a fire-suppression system. Acquired by the seller in 2015, this T70 Mk.3B is now offered with an FIA Historical Technical Passport, a letter from Mac McClendon describing the car’s history, and a clean Illinois title in the name of the seller’s trust.
Single-Family-Owned 1966 Austin Mini Moke
This 1966 Austin Mini Moke is a left-hand-drive example that is finished in green and powered by an 848cc inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. The car was manufactured in August 1965 and dispatched to the US in September of that year for delivery to Falvey Imported Cars of Ferndale, Michigan. The dealership’s principal, the seller’s late father, acquired the vehicle for personal use, and ownership was transferred to the seller in 1986 following his passing. It was relocated to California where it was placed into storage in 1996, and recommissioning work in November 2004 included replacing several underbody panels as well as the clutch cylinders, rear brake shoe linings, fuel pump, distributor cap, ignition points, condenser, muffler, flasher relay, shocks, and the hood hinges and hold-downs. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the front brake wheel cylinders and hoses, fan belt, and tires. This Mini Moke is now offered with service records, removed and spare parts, a Battery Tender, a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) certificate, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
1963 Porsche 356B 1600S Cabriolet
This 1963 Porsche 356B 1600S cabriolet is finished in Ivory over black leather and powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, boot cover, chrome 15″ steel wheels, Koni shocks, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, a heater, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2012.
