This Dodge Pickup got away, but there are more like it here.
This 1947 Dodge WC is a half-ton pickup that is powered by a 218ci flathead inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in black over brown upholstery. Equipment includes 16″ steel wheels, running boards, wood bed slats, side boards, and a cab heater. The truck was acquired in 2021 by the seller, who reports that service in 2023 included replacing the fuel tank, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, and ignition wires as well as the door and window seals. This WC pickup is now offered with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in black with chrome grille trim and headlight bezels. Equipment includes a pop-out windshield, running boards, a wood bed floor with bright runners, and side boards. Replacement door and window seals are said to have been installed in preparation for the sale. Areas of dull and flaked paint are noted around the body.
Red-finished 16″ steel wheels wear chrome Dodge-branded hubcaps and 205/75 Federal whitewall tires. A full-size spare is mounted below the bed. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums.
The cab features a bench seat trimmed in brown upholstery that extends to the roof, pillars, and door panels. Floor mats protect the carpets, and a heater box is located below the dash. The finish on the dashboard, gear shift, and parking brake are worn.
A three-spoke steering wheel frames an 80-mph speedometer flanked by auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 200 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The seller reports that the 218ci flathead inline-six was serviced in 2023 with an oil change and replacement of the fuel tank, oil pan gasket, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Corrosion is visible on underside components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery below.
